A followup to its legendary Bugout knife, the Benchmade Bailout is a more robust yet still EDC-appropriate folder. Rated at between an impressive 60-62 HRC, the Bailout sports a slightly-longer (0.9” thick) 3.38” CPM-3V Tanto blade with a gray finish and a plain-edge. The rugged blade is paired with a set of premium (0.41” thick) black textured Grivory polymer handles, and is deployed via Benchmade’s proprietary AXIS locking mechanism. Despite spanning over 8” when opened, the Bailout weighs in at just 2.7oz, too. A lanyard hole, mini deep cary pocket clip, black-anodized hardware, and an aluminum pommel complete this hardwearing and utilitarian package.
