Growing up on Peaks Island, Maine, Charley Friedman had to learn to carry all of his daily necessities with him. His daily commute included travel by foot, bike, and boat and it taught him the limitations of the gear on which he depended. He took that knowledge and experience and started Flowfold. Driven by the passion for adventuring through Maine during each of the four seasons, this small team of craftspeople produces American-made, responsibly sourced, everyday carry items which are constructed out of some extremely tough and surprisingly lightweight materials - like sail cloth - to endure your ever-evolving exploits.
