The pen itself is great. It's a nice compact pen design and feels great in the hand. The only issue that I have with it is the D1 cartridge that the pen comes with does not seem to be of any quality at all as the ink will stop rolling periodically. I also had a complete failure with the cartridge which caused all of the ink to run out the back of the cartridge. Make sure you get decent D1 refills from a brand like Kaweco, Jaymo, Zebra, etc.
