Started in 2010 as Más Design, Handgrey is a small independent design studio inspired heavily by the German Bauhaus school of design. That is to say that, in reducing objects to their most basic functions, you can extract the most enduring and timeless form of said objects. They seek to combat our collective "disposable mentality" by creating useful, well-thought-out, minimalist, everyday tools that will withstand years of repeated operation. Their name is derived from the concept of handheld objects and the color grey - a color they perceive to be the most lasting of all the natural shades - and serves to fully outline their philosophy.
