Bozeman, Montana is a storied town, rife with the kinds of history and struggles that distinguished the American frontier as both an alluring and often dangerous place. So, it makes sense that a company famous for making rugged equipment for customers with military, hunting, wildland fire, and mountaineering backgrounds would be born there. Since 1978, Dana Gleason and Renee Sippel-Baker have been working together, but it wasn't until 2000 - and after a short retirement - they founded Mystery Ranch, realizing that their passion was to continue making those tough products for tough people.
